I believe that there is a way to improve drastically the global policies so at least there won’t be famine anywhere. It is known that the production of food it is enough for feeding everybody so we only have to deliver it.
I worked for UNDP around 2 years and that is how I became involved through reading a lot of information regarding several social development problems.

A smile that comes straight from the heart. Yes, the joy that i see among orphan children who are either infected or affected with HIV/AIDS or with disability. They inspire me a lot. Having seen them and spent enough time to understand their psychology....at times my reasoning comes to a halt. Despite having to deal with so much, they taught me to see the beauty of life. The issue that matters to me most right now is Global Warming. I first learned about global warming in my humanities class where I learned about the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers due to rising temperatures on earth. I have also learned that using more sustainable practices such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power can greatly reduce the amount of pollution that is produced in our environment. Now I know what type of sustainable power sources I will be using in the future to help... ( read more)
